CRUISE TABATINGA TO LETICIA 04D/03N

Day 01: IQUITOS/ CRUISE ON BOARD/ EXIT.Transfer from the hotel or if you arrive on time, from the airport to the pier; visiting in the trip, the main square of the city, the boulevard, the house of iron (Eiffel) etc. After taking the M/F ARAPAIMA, the corresponding cabins are assigned, an overview about the ship is given; security on board, the captain, the guide and the crew are presented, the excursions of the day are coordinated. The ship sets sail while you enjoys your lunch on board, sailing down by the Amazonas river passing small towns. Afternoon Tour; walk by the forest and visit the town of Yanamono; and at sunset excursion in auxiliary boats to watch birds, dolphins and a lot of vegetation in the mouth of the Napo river. (A, C).Note: We recommend the passenger to arrive a previous day to Iquitos or in the earliest flight in the morning of the same day of the exit of the cruise. We can help to reserve your room in one of the local hotels.                                                              Day 02: CRUISE ON BOARD/ PEBAS.
Arrival to the Palometa gully just at dawn, near the town of Pebas where we begin an excursion of birdwatching. After the breakfast, visit to the native community, Bora or Huitoto, to share their customs, to enter to the traditional and main house (Maloca) built of rustic material of the zone; we will appreciate their dances, myths, values, customs and buy or exchange their works of handcrafts. It is important to emphasize that even they continue using rustic objects to grind and mix certain products as the yucca, bananas and some food. Lunch on board. Fascinating walk by forest on the banks of the Limón gully to observe birds, ants of great size, trees and medicinal plants; learn which plants and fruits are good to eat and which they are utilized for poisons or local healings. After the dinner; nocturnal excursion in auxiliary boats to observe the fauna, to listen the noises of the enigmatic forest, nocturnal views of the sky that offers you different constellations in this part of the Amazonia. Day 03: CRUISE ON BOARD/ CABALLO COCHA.
Early at dawn, you will sail in small boats along the river Amazonas to listen the bustle of the monkeys and the songs of the birds too near to the Alfaro Island. After the breakfast, the ship continues sailing down while you observe the dense vegetation that covers both edges of the river and occasionally the canoes packed with bananas and fruits of the forest cross the river. From deck you can appreciate rustic houses of enthusiastic children who greet the tourist on board. After the lunch, we arrive at the mouth of the channel of the town of Caballo Cocha; where you can appreciate groups of colored butterflies, birds, pink and gray dolphins that appear to the surface to breathe. Visit the town of Caballo Cocha, then fishing (pirañas). Nocturnal excursion to observe caymans that inhabit on the banks of the lake. Overnight on board while you sail in the river Amazonas at last night. (D, A, C).
Day 04: ARRIVAL TO LETICIA – TABATINGA
After sailing all the night; we arrive early in the morning to the frontier town of Santa Rosa (Peru). Breakfast undertake. Transfer in rowboats to the city of Leticia (Colombia) and Tabatinga (Brazil). Free time to visit the zoo of the city, to buy something of handcrafts or only to drink a soda in one of the local restaurants before your transfer to the hotel or to the airport.
